Set up Meltaway in 5 minutes

Follow the steps below. You only do this once.

The steps

Open the app: meltaway.pocketcalm.app/app on your phone, tablet or computer.
Put it on your home screen: iPhone (Safari) → Share → Add to Home Screen. Android (Chrome) → ⋮ → Install app.
Tap the gear (Settings) → Connect Google Sheets.
Type your access code from the Start Here PDF (once per device).
Choose your Google account → Continue. Meltaway can only see the one sheet it creates.
Your sheet is ready: "Meltaway · My Debt Payoff" is now in your Google Drive.
Step 1, your debts: tap Credit card, Car loan… then type what you owe today, the rate (APR) and the minimum from the statement. Add them all.
Step 2, your extra: how much you can add on top of the minimums each month, and the order: Snowball, Avalanche or your own.
Step 3: see your debt-free date and your first "boss". Tap Let's go.
Every payment: tap Pay → choose the debt → Save. Beat a debt and the map moves on.
Once a month: Plan → Statements → type each new balance. The interest is added for you.
Open your sheet any time from Settings → Open my sheet, or from Google Drive.
